This mixed bag of remnants or 'odds and ends' has a minimum weight of 1kg (2.2lbs), which averages out at around 3-4 square metres (3-4 square yards) of fabric pieces in total. The average value of this much cloth is well over £100, so this 'lucky dip' is a real bargain!
You will receive a random assortment of scraps and oddments with plenty of different fabrics in each bag. The offcuts are of various shapes and sizes. Naturally, our most popular materials are the pure new wool tartans, so the selections will usually be almost all wool (in a range of different weights) but may also include odd pieces of silks, tweeds, polyviscose tartans or plain coloured fabrics as well. The photograph shows a typical selection to give you an idea, but of course every bag will be different.
Our generous packs of jumbled remnants are perfect for crafters, hobbies and for dressmakers wishing to practice or experiment on various fabrics. The pieces are ideally sized for use in all sorts of craft projects - dolls' and teddies' clothes; jewellery, hairbands and bows and small accessories such as purses, handkerchiefs or even hats; patchwork, quilting, applique and customising clothes, collage and scrapbooking, covering buttons, or making pretty brooches and corsages.

I purchased an oddment bag in,August 2008. I was so excited by the wonderfully large rement pieces, they were the hit of the Kirkin'. What is so hard to believe, and it is the truth, I ordered this bag on a Monday morning and got it before noon on Wednesday. What is so incredible about that is that I live in Fresno, Califonia. I will probably order another oddment bag in the future!

great product. Pieces are a very good size. I'd definitely buy again and wouldn't mind paying a bit more to have labels on them identifying the tartan.
